That does not look like my GMC App. I just looked at the update and nothing on adding a Tesla charger.
It is the myChevrolet app and the UI design is the same... if you read up you'd see he's showing hidden menus and options. No one but Dev accounts and with the correct software switch can see it.

Only 2019 and 2020 Bolts need an update to charge at Tesla. Hummers charge fine.
??? Hummers charge fine now at Tesla stations??..where & since when?? So if there is anyone with a Hummer that is able to connect and successfully charge at Tesla stations right now with any adapter please confirm. I have been checking & trying weekly at Tesla stations, each time by entering/identifying my Hummer as a Ford Lightning or Rivian RS1..but I reach the same point of failure/error where the Tesla station will not properly recognize and allow the connection to charge. I have the Lectron adapter and A2Z Typhoon Pro adapter, but both are waiting for GM & Tesla to complete their required handshake.

Right now Hummers can only charge at Magic Dock locations, all other V3/V4 locations are not enabled yet to use adaptors as GM Mac addresses are not whitelisted.
Some users here got lucky and tried some non-Magic Dock V3 stations during testing windows and were able to initiate a charge using their own adaptor, but that's rare.

We are still waiting for the official launch.

Tesla chargers in Arizona and Michigan have been open for testing since mid June, I have used an adapter at three different sites and also have charged at a Magic dock site prior to that. I have two official Tesla adapters, one from Ford and one from Rivian. Another person on the forum was able to charge in Michigan with a Lectron adapter. I had to use the Tesla app to pay, I had already set up a Tesla account.

Enabling the charging is on the Tesla side, they can see the MAC address prefix of the modems in the vehicles. They simply have only opened up some chargers in these two states for GM to perform testing.

Thank you for clarifying. I was aware of the rare cases where GM is testing at select Tesla stations. How people get so misinformed that GM vehicles are able to charge at Tesla stations nationwide is mind boggling. I know people where I live that insist/argue GM ev’s can charge at any Tesla station.

Even when they officially open, it will not be at "every" Tesla station, the older units are incompatible with CCS cars. There are many with Rivian and Fords that continue to be "confused".

The Tesla app has all the right filters in it and is the best source to know which sites are compatible.

The nav in the Hummer also doesn't list incompatible sites AFAIK. It will be nice because it will take trip planning from an experience kind of like having one of the first gas cars and planning stops at the few gas stations that existed and turn it into just leaving and not worrying about it. For instance, if I drive to Florida there's a 160mi stretch of interstate with 2...TWO! DCFC over 50kW. With supercharger access that becomes 8.

Hoping in the next three weeks we get access, this could make my trip to Durango much easier. Tesla just opened a brand new site in Kayenta AZ today that is between Flagstaff and Durango, where the Hummer Club 4x4 event is. If it is not open to us yet, I will have to go via Gallup NM and use the EA station there. this also will make getting to Moab from the south very easy as well. There are some ChargePoint fast chargers along the way to Moab, but they tend to be only 125kw.

Onstars Terms and conditions just went live for Tesla charging, I would expect access to start tomorrow/Monday now. Will go try a supercharger in DFW in a few while grabbing some icecream lol.

Monday is a holiday, better if tomorrow. Also it is the end of the month, both Ford and Rivian announcements were at the end of the month.

I am in Michigan and my Typhoon adapter is being delivered today will try Tesla chargers in the area and report back

I'll believe GM is offering Tesla charging when we put men back on the moon. Promise the moon, deliver nothing. GM"s moto.

That link sends you to the Chevy page which tells you to go to the APP.
This whole charade has me thinking if we want to stick our necks out on the Escalade IQ.

The link is only supposed to be accessed from the app, I data mined it.

”GM continues to work in good faith”…says it all. Translation: we don't’ know and have no answer, except OTA’s are coming soon…rinse-wash-repeat.
