This looks different than the paper copy the dealer gave me. The plug in side from Tesla has the long neck like the other adapters.
With Tesla kicking it up to 8K per week there might be a chance the network gets opened up within the next year, as slow as GM is moving forward with this.
I think the speed of this is about the speed of information on the Escalade IQ, wife is anxious to get it on order for her.

That is the adapter the GM rep showed when walking thru the Escalade IQ, not the Tesla adapter. The one in the guide how to set up the account and get the adapter is also showing the Lectron Adapter, not the Tesla. GM must be stocking up on the Lectron seeing as the Tesla adapter is taking forever to get.

Well, I currently have an Original A2Z Typoon, the Updated Lectron Vortex, and the updated Typoon Pro...so all I need is the official adapter to complete the collection.

Not the same thing. This walks you thru setting up the app to enroll and get the adapter.
The app is not updated with anything about this yet. The info about the app setup and ordering has been out for a while. Once Tesla opens the chargers up to GM, you will not really need the GM app, because you can pay Tesla directly with the Tesla app. GM just wants you to pay through them to do data tracking. In fact, if you want to use the Tesla discount, you will want to pay via the Tesla app with a direct account.

With my Ford and Rivian I can just plug and charge on Tesla, then I get billed by Ford or Rivian. But if I want to, I can just initiate with the Tesla app and get billed by Tesla. Since GM is not supporting plug and charge, there is no real benefit to signing up to pay via GM.

The app is updated and it can be enabled OTA. It also seems in the app the prices are slightly cheaper then the tesla app so gm may have worked out a deal with tesla or it was unfinished when I tested it. Heres some screen shots from the app from about a month ago.

How do you get to that first page, there is nothing in my app for this. I am running MyGMC version 6.25.2 on IOS. FYI, no OTA is needed to charge on Tesla Superchargers, I have used them many times.

Ummm…OTA updates from GM relevant to the Hummer EV’s?...when & for what exactly? Been hearing about “coming soon OTA”..since purchasing my Hummer back in January and 9 months later still nothing. Instead of OTA..it should be referred to as UFO.

Secret sauce to get it enabled. For the myBrand app to be enabled for superchargers acces/adapter ordering page it is a OTA switch.
Tesla app should work slightly sooner is my guess.

Only 2019 and 2020 Bolts need an update to charge at Tesla. Hummers charge fine.
