Anyone seen anything official about using Lectron adapters bought directly from Lectron instead of GM purchased ones. And anyone have a picture of the GM version? Does it say Lectron, GM, or blank.
I was wondering the same thing. I can get the official lectron adapter from Amazon and have it here today but when I called GM about my order they’re telling me 4+ weeks so I’m not sure what the deal is or what the best route is. Also confused on why 24+ trucks are getting the Tesla adapter and shipping immediately but 22-23 trucks are getting lectron and it appears no one is getting theirs.

Someone probably just didn't flag the Tesla adapter as a part that was compatible with 22 and 23 models on the accessories site. I sometimes have to change the year on the site to view parts that are 100% compatible with my year of Hummer. I think the rims used to be (or still are) where it wouldn't even show you the 22" rims if you had told the site you had a '22/'23. Or, they're just trying to split demand by model year.

The route planner now includes Tesla. I am departing this morning and will see if google includes it.

Once I got in the truck, Google still indicated incompatible plug. I was able to cut my trip time by 45 minutes by taking the route with a Tesla charger. Ford still has not added these to the built in NAV and they got access in Feb.

Wish there was a toggle you could hit that says "I have an adapter" so I don't get that prompt to reroute when selecting a supercharger.

Google maps does not understand anything yet about adapters. Ford and Rivian do not use Google in their vehicles. I am sure Goggle will update soon, probably faster than Ford.

My collection is complete.
Ironically, the official adapter (the only one we’re sure GM approves of so far), is the most plastic, lightest, and cheapest feeling.

Lol!!! Have you used them to charge at Tesla DC stations yet? Today I used the Lectron, A2Z Typhoon & Typhoon Pro. I utilized the Tesla app and all 3 successfully charged my 24’ Hummer SUV Edition 1..and during & after nothing exploded, started to burn or any other strange anomalies. I have not ordered the GM adapter version, for $225 GM can recoup their costs elsewhere but not from me.

There actually is. If you do the update and go into either Payment types or filters. The reason I say either is that on my 22 SUT ED1, it gives me the option to select a payment type "non-Telsa" and it will show me all compatible Tesla chargers able to use an adapter or if it has a Magic Dock. My 24 SUV there is a toggle in the filters to turn on for "Adapter". I was able to do this once I updated google maps and now it shows me the Tesla chargers and not the "not compatible" message. Works like a charm.

Yeah, but on the NAV screen in the truck itself, there isn’t

Not sure I'm getting what you are saying. Those options I talked about are in the Nav system (Google maps).
Sorry I missed the part where you updated the maps in the truck. I’ll give that a shot and see if that does it. I see the filter options but right now ccs1 is the only option there. Let me update really quick.

I think I have the newer version because it's pointing me to Superchargers as charging options in route planning but every time I do it brings up a prompt that's basically "are you sure? this needs an adapter." where the default answer if you don't respond is "Reroute" i.e. find a different charger and I have to hit "continue" i.e. yes, I'm sure to keep it from picking something else.
