My 2024 Hummer EV pickup had crazy squeaky roof panels. Everything about the truck was perfect, but the creaking and popping and squeaking was really noticeable and terribly annoying. It made it sound like the entire truck was falling part.

Good news!!! I was able to get rid of 100% of the noise! I simply added heat-shrink wraps to the sky panel connector pins. I only added them to the pins that have the fat bubble ends on them. Not the straight pins.

The entire process took only 15 minutes. My issue is now 100% resolved. The thin layer of padding on the pins completely stops all the noise.

I let my dealership know and they were shocked at the results. They're going to let their Hummer rep know and possibly inform all dealers about this very easy fix.

The truck is now so much more enjoyable.

I purchased the item linked above and it worked great. However I found the 3/4” to be an issue as it was too thick and I couldn’t get the panels back in properly. I used the 3/8” (cut them in half and used half on each notch) and it worked great. So far very little noise, only minimal when I go over train tracks or large bumps. Not even going to have the dealer mess with the washers.

I do not have any noticeable wind noise.
I had the T-TOP Recall done 3 days ago, which is inserting some washers in the i bar that the t-tops latch into and applying some GM lube to some locations.
I cannot believe what a difference. The sound level, lack rattling noise from the sky panels is great with this change in place. I did not put the shrink wrap on my panels as of yet. If the noise level stays as is right now, i can't imagine it making a difference. I am very happy as of right now.
