My omega edition just got nail in tire, I took it to discount tire , they said this is a Beadlock wheel it will take more time to fix flat and we do not have bolt pattern or torque specs for beadlock. Ask me if I had tool to remove bolts.
I told them it was a decorative trim , not a Functioning Beadlock.
They called gmc dealer and they told them there is no torque specs for decorative beadlock trim.
They removed Beadlock , repaired tire and I had them swap with spare tire until I could take to gmc service.
Then they checked Beadlock on spare tire and it was different.
the Beadlock was not pressing against the tire bead. It was attached to wheel only .very odd!
I thought all of the Beadlock capable wheels on the omega edition are the same, including spare tire? I know spare does not have tpms Sensor.
made gmc service appointment to get these wheels checked .ugh

Yes, unfortunately the dealer added option , did not understand this important detail and damaged the rings, by forcing the decorative ring over the tire bead, bending the soft aluminum ring ,distorting the flat shape as the bolts were torqued excessively into the rim, compressing the tire bead between ring and rim. Ring now is usable for the proper fitment to the rim only.
Now the replacement rings do not have the fake bolts like the OEM set.

Local GMC parts department still looking for the 8 decorative bolts that cover those eight holes in the decorative bead lock ring. The only other option is to leave them open until someone can find these decorative bolts.Below is photo of beadlock capable rim, with 24 bolt holes . Decorative ring only uses 16 bolts to secure to rim.

I found the gmc accessories instructions inside the box with the new decorative ring and 16 bolts.

WARNING :RING IS FOR DECORATIVE PURPOSES ONLY.DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE RING FOR TRUE FUNCTIONAL BEADLOCK APPLICATIONS AS THIS COULD RESULT IN INJURY AND DEATH.

The decorative ring does not need to be removed to mount or dismount the tire.
The tire does not need to be removed to remove or install decorative ring
It is not recommended to use wheel without ring attached.Driving without ring will result in contamination of the threaded bolt holes.

note:Ring may contain decorative bolts that should not be removed.
[none of the rings in the kit have the decorative bolts?, did they forget to install them ?]

5.Tighten decorative bolts:
a. First pass : hand tighten
b. Second pass :Torque to 34 nm (25 ft-lb)

since no one seems to know how or where to get these 8 decorative bolts for each ring.
I have decided to have the new rings installed and just deal with the 8 empty holes in the ring.
may be one day I will find something to plug them up with the decorative bolts.

My Hummer EV is home. The new decorative rings are installed , with 8 vacant bolt holes.
i was told , freeman gmc parts called the GM parts specialist and they were clueless as to what decorative bolts were missing on the beadlock decorative ring for the Omega edition Hummer EV.!
Only 2000 Hummer EVs with the specific 18” gloss black beadlock wheel with carbon flash decorative ring(dealer installed) were built.
I will keep searching for the decorative T50 torx bolt head.

The hummer EV technician said the decorative bolts would be damaged if removed from the ring.
The enclosed instructions state : NOTE: ring may contain decorative bolts that should not be removed.
These bolts will either have a different socket size from the actual bolts or will not take a socket.
unfortunately there are no decorative bolts on the new rings and they are the only part number for this wheel. 85044737

Dealer kept them for GM regional rep to inspect.Hopefully he has some ideas about those decorative bolts. Yes, 16 bolts T50 torx bit . Discount tire did finally get them off to repair the tire. Thats when I received the unfortunate surprise. I did get picture of wheel , it has 24 bolt holes , you just need to remove the rings , use the 16 bolts to plug the holes, but need 8 extra bolts too
I did try to use the original rings but they will not be flush on the wheel, they are scalloped from the force used to torque them over the tire bead.

I was having a hard time understanding until you posted this pic. I had similar decorative heads that were simply pressed into a set of Weld Racing wheels I had. I’m surprised the dealer couldn’t pop those out of the ones you already had. Did they give you back the originals? Otherwise, get some black touch up paint and paint the holes. You’ll forget about them if you do that.

The dealer service still has the rings and 16 bolts.. The hummer tech advised against removing the decorative bolts since they would be damaged and may damage the new ring trying to press them in the holes without the proper machinery and may not hold very well with the splines compressed.
The decorative rings are a soft aluminum as we found out from the damage done from improper
installation. Fortunately the bolts held and did not blowout like the ones in Canada.
I have been thinking about the black paint option. Thank you
I just feel cheated since it is the mighty OMEGA Edition!

I scratched one of my bronze rings off roading this past weekend and every one i find online has empty bolt holes on the inner bolts, so I'm faced with the same issue you have. A wheel shop said they could fix and repaint the factory ring but they need the tech bronze paint code.

This is exactly why I want a spare set of rings. Next time i'm removing the rings before i go. I was lazy this time and it cost me.

That is correct , the gmc parts department confirmed the correct part number for the decorative rings in carbon flash, only applicable to the Omega edition gloss black bean lock capable wheel, that are dealer installed option.
GMC Hummer Technician advised against removal of the 8 decorative bolts from original damaged decorative ring. Said it would damage the bolts and prevent them from being reused in the new rings.
I will be patiently waiting for a fix.
