My omega edition just got nail in tire, I took it to discount tire , they said this is a Beadlock wheel it will take more time to fix flat and we do not have bolt pattern or torque specs for beadlock. Ask me if I had tool to remove bolts.
I told them it was a decorative trim , not a Functioning Beadlock.
They called gmc dealer and they told them there is no torque specs for decorative beadlock trim.
They removed Beadlock , repaired tire and I had them swap with spare tire until I could take to gmc service.
Then they checked Beadlock on spare tire and it was different.
the Beadlock was not pressing against the tire bead. It was attached to wheel only .very odd!
I thought all of the Beadlock capable wheels on the omega edition are the same, including spare tire? I know spare does not have tpms Sensor.
made gmc service appointment to get these wheels checked .ugh

Makes no sense…the rings are already damaged. Attempting to remove the decorative bolts isn’t going make them more not useable. If the decorative bolts get damaged during removal, who cares. You absolutely cannot reuse them as long as they are still attached to the damaged rings. But you may be able to reuse them if you at least try. The tech probably threw away the rings, and that’s why they’re unwilling to try.

The rings are in the boxes from replacement rings, with all the 16 original bolts. They are still trying to get more information from a GM parts specialist. unfortunately the rings are too distorted to reuse.
I may need to inquire about a machine shop that has the tooling to extract the decorative bolts and safely press them into the new rings without damaging them.Last thing I want is another damaged ring.

I will keep you posted. I contacted a friend of mine who is a retired A and P mechanic, and has many tools , like hydraulic press etc. He has offered to give it a try.🥳
I still think GMC needs to make this correction to supplying the proper replacement parts.

Received reply from shopchevyparts: This is the bronze beadlock decorative ring.

We recently received a set of the wheels (part# 85630859) that comes with the decorative beadlock already attached. It does have the 16 outer bolts, with the 8 decorative botls. Part# 85044734 is the decorative ring by itself and it only comes with the 16 outer bolts, and not the 8 decorative bolts.

OMEGA EDITION wheels gloss black Part# 85630860 ($1150) each and beadlock ring carbon flash with 8 fake bolt heads
The part# for just the beadlock decorative ring (no fake bolts) is 85044737. $275 each

I am still waiting for the update from my local dealer . The GMC EV concierge has an open case number ,, but have not heard back from anyone.69563687 is the new case number
I can only ask the dealer to re-order the rings, but I am sure they will want me to pay for them first.

Dated June 24/2025

Case number 69563687

Thanks for chatting in with me today. I will see what I can do once I contact the dealership about the items we talked about today in the chat.

Sincerely

Same, i need a new ring for my ed1 with bronze bead locks as I scratched one off roading and the one the dealer ordered for me was missing the fake bolts like yours. (now i remove the rings before rock crawling and conveniently they cover the scratches i get on the wheels when reinstall, haha.)

Today I Called the GM concierge EV , Again I have my open case with the decorative bead lock rings Part number 85044737, missing the 8 decorative torx 50 bolt heads, these are specifically for Omega Edition wheels. The case has been escalated to a regional director ,since the only way to get the decorative bead lock rings with the eight fake bolt heads is to order the wheel/ring as a set ;Part number 85630860.

The grazen metallic tech bronze ring set part number is 85630859.

I have received zero updates from local gmc dealership or anyone from GMC headquarters regarding this part number missing fake bolt heads.

The tech bronze ring part number 85044734 is also missing the fake bolt heads.

If anyone knows how to get this issue to a GM parts specialist, maybe they can find a solution.

I would like my omega edition to be complete!

Yes, the wheel and tech bronze ring is a set ,it has one part number 85630859.priced $830-$995
the tech bronze ring only is part 85044734, priced at $375 or less, this part is missing the torx 50 decorative bolt heads, only has the 16 bolts to install on wheel, similar to my carbon flash decorative bead lock rings, it will have 8 vacant bolt holes.

Gm ev concierge is an absolute train wreck. I’ve been dealing with them for three months for a AuX cable. I was told that I would get a regional director on the phone and that was 6 weeks ago. I finally demanded an answer and a supervisor got me on the phone just to lie to me about following up. They really are there as a void for customers to complain and then do nothing.. definitely will get better results bugging the dealership.
