It's Glue that holds the camera to the window. If it doesn't cure properly it will leak. It needs to be removed and reapplied.

 

Vehicle was delivered to dealer in January. Could it still be leaking?

 

Well that's annoying, I just installed the radar detector and wired the mirror. I'll wait till it falls off, lol.

 

Just had mine in for this - it’s from the auto sense wiper module in the rear view mirror/camera/auto sense wiper module. The warmer the teams the more it leaks. Had it replaced and will get it back tomorrow. Will let y’all know how it goes in the coming weeks.

 

Funny story, my Hummer omega loaner has the same issue.

 

Well... My wife just noticed that ours is doing the same thing... Is this a quick fix? Just trying to decide if we should do it right away or wait 3 weeks until we get back from or vacation.

 

No quick fix. They have to change out the rain sense module. If you aren’t taking it on vaca leave it - they will need it for at least a few days to order the part.

 

Mine did it once right after I got it and hasn't since, so I have never bothered with it. Ironically the loaner they gave me last week had the same issue and I pointed it out when i returned it.

I am worried it only does it in the heat and when summer comes it will be leaking again.

 

Yeah we are taking the truck on vacation so if anything, I will wait until we get back... We bought it in September when it was starting to cool down and here in SC we just started getting some temperatures in the 80's so that's probably why she just noticed it

 

I’ve noticed the same issue today. 3 months into ownership….

 

So dealer told me its normal and wont' leak again but now the wipers stay on when the windshield is dry so I'm taking it back.

 

my auto rain sensor module had to be replaced. 3 weeks waiting for parts
