Charging curve on EVGO 350KW charger

I finally found an EVGO charger that would output a decent rate, although the truck initially indicated the charge was limited, at least for the first 10-15%, and the charger did max out at 400A on the display. Temp was 65F and the truck only preconditioned for about 10 minutes. I charged from 21% to 85%. It is still doing that odd dip from 70-80%.

Also plotted the charging times:

Overall, the time to go from 20% to 80% was 35 minutes. If you want to optimize charging times on road trips, I would suggest stopping at 65%.

When I charged on an EA station a few weeks ago it was also hitting about 300kw at 30-40%, but then the charger throttled it back to 180kw from 45% to 60%. Today it was still at 200kw at 68%, but that is when it started dropping faster.

wonder what the numbers are going to look like when the tesla SC become available ..
I posted the charging curve for that, and plan on making an overly of the two and posting it here. I will make a time comparison chart as well. The highest charge rate on Tesla is 185kw, at 400V.

Charging plots, EVGO (800V) versus Tesla (400V). The advantage of 800V is quite clear. Also, the dip at 75% is not there during the 400V charge. So I believe that may be when they are attempting to balance the voltages of the two halves of the pack, prior to reaching 80%.

Biggest issue the Hummer is going to face is just the shear battery size. 200+ kWh compared to 75 on a model 3, 100kWh on a Model X, or 125 on the Cybertruck. It will always be a very impractical vehicle for long distance driving. You can of course make it work, but it's going to take a lot of time charging.
Not in my experience. The Hummer can add more miles per minute than my Mach E or my Rivian. Most of these other vehicles are charging below a 1C rate before they get to 50% SoC. The Cybertruck charges really slow as compared to the Hummer or the Rivian. The Hummer does not drop below a 1C charge rate until almost 70%.

The only issue I see is getting to chargers that will give the full power requested by the Hummer EV.
Yes, this is the issue. So far I have not gotten above 300kw, and the power bar in the truck is on, meaning it is requesting more. I have had this on EA and EVGO. I have also had the EVGO power shared chargers limit to 175kw, even with nobody else plugged in. This happened to me 2 out of 3 times using them.

I was able to see the full 500A on Tesla, but it is at 400V.

I tried fast DC charging at EVGo , I was able to add 100 miles in 10 minutes and it was below 260kw so I am hoping at super charger it can go upto 350kw and would charger way faster .
Superchargers currently only support 470V, so you can only get 185kw. Eventually Tesla is supposed to support 1000V and 350kw on V4 Superchargers, but not today. And the V3 chargers are not likely to ever get upgraded.
