I just got my delivery and straight took it to my auto guy to PPF , ceramic coat and tint. I am curious what accessories people have bought and please specify brand. I am also curious if anyone has bought a dog ramp and a barrier for their furry friend.

Just got my ED1 SUT this week. Getting the windows tinted Tuesday, ordered the black badging, and am waiting to hear how much my dealer is going to charge me for recalibration so I can go 37’s on 20” wheels. This whole week I have been looking for accessories for this thing. Would love to see what everyone else is doing also.

I'm thinking about the rear cross bars to mount my bike racks too, but need to make sure our bikes will fit okay. I also was thinking about the front storage trays but I can't find them on GM's website anymore. I guess I'll just use the bags for now. Luckily it's snowing today so I don't need to worry about this for a while.

I need to schedule my window tint. I'm torn on PPF and ceramic. I did ceramic on my truck a few months ago and I was not impressed with it. I followed proper procedures for it curing, water would beed off of it, but it seemed to attract dirt and dust so much more. I ended up bringing it through the carwash and it is all but gone now. PPF on the other hand, I was thinking about getting it for the rear fenders since they clearly are getting the most love from the road debris. Every time I look in my side view mirrors and see those hips, sexy!

I installed the new mud flaps and am pleasantly surprise with them. I don't live in an area with snow but they do seem to help with road debris. The front mud flaps are wide enough to almost completely cover the debris being thrown from those front tires.

I purchased the larger factory front flaps, and the rear ones. The rear ones help a lot, the larger front ones also, but, IMO, they should have been manufactured a bit larger. Now, GM needs to make better ones for the front of the rear wheels, and, a heavy duty thick rubber bed mat. Dee Products makes nice ones, but, not for the Hummer EV unfortunately

I did the BED RAILS as well, and really love them...I used a box cutter, and ended up with better edges than the Dremel, but yes, it doesn't matter, it's all covered up. I also prefer the look of the rails, as I've always thought the profile of the truck was a hair out of balance.

The downside of the rails is I also have the BED EXTENDER, which has to be dis-attached and flipped depending on if I want it inward or outward. It's super easy to do, just a little awkward. The Bed Extender is probably my favorite add on, as cargo (groceries, kids backpacks, etc.) doesn't shift to the bulkhead all the time.

Sorry for the slow reply. I never saw your initial question. No unfortunately you have to dis-attach the bed extender, flip it over, and reattach. It also doesn't fully lock in the inward position, as you have to angle the attachments with the tailgate locks, which the crossbars prohibit you from doing. It primarily stays in place just resting there...It does lock in the extended (outward) position.
