Issues with frunk and back hatch automatic opening?

The frunk has been an issue since the beginning. It "forgets" if it's open or closed if it sits for a while, turning on the truck usually makes it "remember". I'm assuming the same logic running the frunk, runs the back hatch. Good thing GM ships "software so polished and finished they never have to update anything"...
Just put it on the "been a problem for three years and no software update to fix it" board along with 20-30 other items.

One day I'll draw out the flow chart to get the frunk open and closed based on what its doing. It's quite repeatable.

good morning
My tailgate is working fine thus far on my 2022 EV1. However the portion with the speakers and rear sound system does not unlatch using the button on the tailgate
If the main tailgate is down it won't release? I know if my tonneau is closed and I only want to release the small ledge with the speakers I have to give it a little nudge after hitting the button due to how tight it is against the tonneau cover gasket.

I have a question about the Frunk... When I use the button under the bumper... It seems like it requires 2 presses... The 1st press releases it and it only pops up (unlocks/releases) ... Then the 2nd press it will open up... Then when it does power open it doesn't go all the way up... It's a little low for my head clearance and I have to manually push it the rest of the up... Conversely closing it works just fine..
It SHOULD only take one press. If the truck is on it usually only takes one. When it’s off (coming back from store, for example) it’s a coin toss on one or more presses. The opening amount is an option in the dash. Meant for limiting it in situations where you might have a height clearance in the front.
