Tested. Works. Gloriously uneventful.

Too high a SOC for maxing out the Supercharging rate, but next time I’m down to sub 20%, I’ll take another swing at it and report back.
Max you can get is 185kw, that peak occurs at 45%. I posted this charging curve previously, but will repost it here on this newer thread. This was in cooler Phoenix temps in December, using a Magic Dock. The Tesla chargers will not hold this curve in hot temperatures.

That dip at 45% is just the boost timer going off, right?
No it is the truck dropping the current request from 500A to 400A. When I did this curve the truck never showed limited by charger. Then at 75% it begins to ramp the current request down, because the voltage has reached 400V.

My second charge today was at an EA site that was full when I arrived, then a car left one of the 150kw stations jsut as I got there. That charge was from 20% to 60% and the rate just stayed right above 170kw the entire time. The average I got on the Tesla charger was 166kw. So basically charging at a Tesla station at 400V is equal to charging on an 800V 150kw CCS station.

I went to a "Dupercharger" (getting dupped since it is not super) when the EA station I wanted to use was full. I got 183kW at 40% and put 58kWh in 25 minutes. It was about 90F, but the charger port was in the shade. I noticed the power level drop to 140ish kW when another tesla started charging aside of me...
I 100F I have seen it drop to 120kw, without any new cars showing up. With my Rivian I was charging alone at a site in 90F temps and it dropped from 200kw to 140kw in a few minutes.
