I finally found an EVGO charger that would output a decent rate, although the truck initially indicated the charge was limited, at least for the first 10-15%, and the charger did max out at 400A on the display. Temp was 65F and the truck only preconditioned for about 10 minutes. I charged from 21% to 85%. It is still doing that odd dip from 70-80%.
Also plotted the charging times:
Overall, the time to go from 20% to 80% was 35 minutes. If you want to optimize charging times on road trips, I would suggest stopping at 65%.
When I charged on an EA station a few weeks ago it was also hitting about 300kw at 30-40%, but then the charger throttled it back to 180kw from 45% to 60%. Today it was still at 200kw at 68%, but that is when it started dropping faster.
