I think there was a post on reddit about someone that kept having issues with a slow leak and that come to find out the dealership/GM had mounted the tires like it was a true beadlock with just the decorative rim attached. They only found out when some of the decorative ring screws got their heads popped off from the stress. GM replaced all four rims and tires as goodwill in that case.
