Hey guys, new to the forums and about the pull the trigger on a lease deal. It seems like a decent deal to me, but wouldn't mind an opinion or two.

2025 2X SUV
$900/month for 24 months, with $4K due on delivery
(10K miles per year)

So about $25,600 for entire lease.

Finally had a local dealer call back

thoughts 3X
107 msrp….. demo with 2K for miles
36 month - 30K miles
1K down $1075 month all in
I countered -0– DAS
$1050 month
I don't think that's a good deal. I have a similar payment on a 120k sticker with zero down 36k miles a year and not a demo. Remember GM pays dealers $6000 for demo units. That drops you to 101k. You should get at least 10k off ( I got 16k off) which would put you to 91k which should put you in the 900s, and that's still not a great deal but decent.

My sale price was 104k and I got a 36k mile lease, so it sounds like they are selling your vehicle for sticker or charging you a higher money factor than GM is offering.

I highly recommend you check out LEASEHACKR

If you want access to the lease calculator that gives you GM lease rates and residuals its $15 a month. It cost me $15 but I saved $6000 in interest on the lease.

It takes time and a lot of phone calls but you save thousands.

Thanks for responding and trying to help this is by far the best deal I’ve encountered in Arizona. The units are still sitting all over the lots, but nobody wants to get anywhere near those numbers. I’m open to a 3X out of state lease. I tried California, but they don’t lease out of state.

Just wanted to update everyone as I closed on my deal today. I think I did alright. More importantly, I love the truck. Coming from the Cybertruck, I would say I enjoy the ‘normalness’ of the Hummer EV more. Can’t wait to take the roof panels off this spring.

2025 2x SUV (transparent roof, dual charge cord)
$979/month for 24 months
$0 due on delivery
10k miles per year

@ppanand I personally wouldn’t purchase one (or any EV for that matter), even at a discount. Their values and demand are way too unpredictable, especially when thinking about 36 months from now.

For my 24 month lease, my total out of pocket cost is $22,494. To drive a brand new 100K+ Hummer EV, that is not bad.

If I purchased it, even for a discount, I would likely have been in it 95K with taxes and registration. That means in 24 months, I would hope the demand is there when I want to sell it, and I would need to get at least 73K to be at par with the lease. If you look at CarGurus, there are already pre-owned examples for 70K, that are not selling.

I’d suggest lease it, and if you can, 24 months to lower your total out of pocket cost.

Just my two cents.
