My grandpa was Harry Potter, can I get in the VIP line?
What, you don't thing Wolfgang sat at his computer hitting refresh for 15 minutes until the GMC site let him reserve? My grandpa was Harry Potter, can I get in the VIP line?
More than likely people like him went to some type of broker and those people probably had bots doing the waiting and refreshing until they got through. Then it was ordered on their clients behave. What, you don't thing Wolfgang sat at his computer hitting refresh for 15 minutes until the GMC site let him reserve?
Don't kid yourself, GM has a VIP channel, and will make sure famous people are taken care of, well if they are famous enough.More than likely people like him went to some type of broker and those people probably had bots doing the waiting and refreshing until they got through. Exactly. He thanks GMC multiple times.Don't kid yourself, GM has a VIP channel, and will make sure famous people are taken care of, well if they are famous enough.
Brokers are for less famous, but rich and foolish people...
I would bet LeBron got one of the first 5, we just have not seen yet. I bet Mary Barra has hers by now too, although she may be driving a captured fleet model.I am Wondering why we haven't seen anything with LeBron James... I guess that he is in the middle of his season, but they used him in some of the earlier Promo stuff. I was thinking that he would be one of the 1st to get his and I am sure that he has millions of followers on social media... That alone would be cheap advertising...
Didn't watch it but I heard they had a commercial during the NBA all-star's game.I just thought that they have maybe used the LeBron for a commercial maybe for the Super Bowl or something... I mean they teased us with him doing a walk around on a pre-production one... I figured that they would use him again.... But, I guess they have more demand than product right now, so may as well save it
that was just posted here in another threadDidn't watch it but I heard they had a commercial during the NBA all-star's game.
Only place I could see it being legitimately useful is driving off-road on loose off-camber terrain. Usually when the vehicle starts to slip in those conditions, the back end starts sliding down. Being able to point the rear wheels up the hill could be huge.Yeah... Funny that all happened after I commented... I think that they are playing the Crab walk thing up way too much... It is a nice trick, but other than just showing it off to show it off, I wonder how many people will really use it... I could see that it would be useful in tight parking lots, but with the 4-wheel steer, you could probably maneuver about the same and not have to stop and figure out how to turn on crab walk and then turn it off...
I could see using it while parking. But the reason they are showing it off so much is because it's unique. Ford, Rivian, Lordstown and the Cybertruck? doesn't have it. So it plays to their strength.Yeah... Funny that all happened after I commented... I think that they are playing the Crab walk thing up way too much... You’re exactly right. I do some serious off roading, this was a buddy of mine this last year. Having all four wheels pointed up the hill would make this a game changer. crab walk will be very good in slip conditions Like this.Only place I could see it being legitimately useful is driving off-road on loose off-camber terrain. I posted another pic of off roading usefulness, but also parallel parking will be a lot of fun with crab walk.Yeah... Funny that all happened after I commented...
