Yes, and for people with reservations, many have every EV under the moon reserved. I had the Hummer Edition 1, Lightning, R1T, and Silverado all reserved. Taking delivery of the Hummer as like it best. Canceled the Ford. Switched the Rivian to the R1S but even then may take my Hummer SUV 3X reservation for delivery over it.
Yes, I have the Hummer EV 3X, Cybertruck, and Silverado EV RST reserved, first one that I can actually get wins-> it’ll probably be the HEV since I’m only about 50,000 on the list. Any would suit my electric truck needs and desires, although it looks like the Hummer EV would be the most fun! Also, I’m not too keen on the Silverado EV RST having the giant transparent roof, since I live in Hawaii and would have to put a suction cup sun blocker up there or something ……

Nice. I confirmed with my dealer they’d actually be charging MSRP as I’ve heard a few stories of trucks arriving then dealers charging huge markups. They said they would honor MSRP.
Good thing to do! Mine is MSRP but they require a tint and ceramic coating package. Bit overpriced but not the worst thing.

Check the sticker with the build date on the truck when you get a chance because other trucks with VINs that low were built in late spring/early summer. My assumption has been that they start builds in sequential VIN order but at some point in the build process trucks are pulled aside for one reason or another (faulty part, QC issue, etc) and are completed at a later date. If yours was “built” two weeks ago that would be one of the shortest built email to dealer waits I’ve seen on here, nearly unprecedented. Not impossible but that would be very weird. I think “completed/shipped” two weeks ago would make more sense but shrug. How close are you to Michigan? I’m fascinated with the logistics going on.

Yeah, will check. Get to see it tomorrow early at dealer I think so will look for the sticker too. Yeah it was the "FULLY BUILD COMPLETED" email last week, so your right, perhaps it was built before that and needed some late minute parts or fixes to be fully complete. We'll see. But yeah, it just showed up 2 weeks after that built email at dealer, surprised them too.

Build month will be in the door jamb, likely was built in May, or June

Mine arrived at dealer today with no shipping email or warning. Got VIN 580 built 2 weeks ago.
Congrats! Excited to hear some getting out there. I am over 15 weeks since my “Spring” build was built and still no word on when it’ll actually show up. Hopefully it’ll just pop up at the dealer like yours did, but I’m not holding my breath.

I did see VIN 1015 pop up on autotrader at a dealer in IL, so they’re getting through them a little better now.

Do you know if your dealer has confirmed that they installed the charging and have the lifts required for the Hummer EV? I heard from GMC that they are holding for that kind of issue.

Yes, I confirmed with my dealer back in February that they were all set on their requirements.

They also confirmed that based on the reservation time stamp I should have been the first one they received. Instead they have already received and delivered others back in July.

I ordered an Ev3X late on the opening day. I haven't heard a thing, don't know if they're being produced or what the rate of production is. I'm trying to figure out if the Cyvertuck will be done before my turn in the Hummer line. I also have a launch day Silverado EV reservation but have no clue where they sit either.

Just found my Silverado EV reservation which was 01-05-2022. I'm pretty sure I reserved as soon as was available. I read perhaps the truck will become available this spring--should be interesting to see how fast they can produce these.

I’m exactly like you…I have all three reservations, and will go with whichever comes along first. I’ll keep my Chevy Bolt EV for a daily drive, but want to replace my OLD 2003 Honda Element with an electric 4wd truck to use for chicken/greenhouse supplies, as well as 4wd trails to Hawaii beaches. Any of them would do, the Hummer EV 3X would probably be the most fun, the Silverado EV RST would be the most utilitarian with the fold down mid section, Cybertruck would work too but I’m about 500,000 in line and I just turned 71, so yeah. The only thing I don’t like about the Silverado EV RST is the glass roof—my Element has it in the back and I have to use suction cup sun shields because passengers complain it’s too hot and intense. Too bad it doesn’t have a sliding opaque panel like my old RX7 had.

The Silverado work trucks are going to come off the line first, but I've heard the first ones are only going to go to fleet customers. I have a WT and an RST FE reserved, but I would be surprised to see either of them this year based on how the rollout of the other Ultium vehicles is going.

The Cybertruck increasingly feels like something they should have been like "you know what, Elon decreed and we tried, but the whole idea turned out to be silly, here's 'the new cybertruck'" and it just ends up looking like a scaled down Tesla Semi with a bed. We haven't even seen what it looks like after they make it full comply with regulatory auto law. And, you don't WANT an "indestructible" car. The point of crumple zones, deformable body panels, etc. is to absorb and redirect that energy so it doesn't transfer to the passengers. The point of glass that breaks safely and predictably is the ability to more safely extract passengers from an accident. I don't see how it passes EU regulations on pedestrian safety. It's their first "late to the market" product. They've had delays with things like the Model X but they had enough of a headstart where it didn't matter with their lack of competition at the time, but now it does. I'm mainly just curious how it all works out.

@Dark-Fx yeah im ok waiting because i bought a Lightning and its really great but need another vehicle at my other home.

It'll be really something if the Cybertruck came before these other pre-orders.
Well Cybertruck was announced and scheduled for production before GM started working on the HummerEV, so its really Tesla that have dropped the ball from their original plans.
