Car and driver zoomed in on the video. You can see the driver which shows how open it is with the roof panels removed.

That could also be a glass roof, but it's hard to say. All I know is GM needs to stop teasing us like this! lol.

Also, welcome to the forum @BahamaTodd!

A glass roof would look heavily tinted from the outside.

That's true, but like the Car and Driver article says "there could be some visual trickery going on".
Car and Driver is aware of the removable roof panels. Not sure why they think its trickery. Two different authors did write the articles though.

During a preview of eleven future electric GM vehicles, Car and Driver saw models of the Hummer pickup, which will be called SUT, and the SUV. Both vehicles will feature removable roof panels over the front and rear passengers.

Thanks for the info, Bahama. And I see both of your points, it DOES look like a glass roof in the teaser video (glad C & D zoomed in), but I do also think that is the trickery...a number of journalists who saw both the SUV and SUT in the flesh said the roof comes off in several panels and stores in the frunk. Could even be a glass option though!

As far as the postponement goes, can't lie and say that I'm not extremely disappointed. I've been waiting the better part of 6 years since there were first rumors of a Hummer comeback back in 2014 (as gas models) that was likely scrapped, but especially since last July, when all this started to leak out. However, I understand how massive this is for GM, and I'm sure they wanted to throw a huge party for this reveal, with lots of people, hype and excitement. I hope it all lives up to that hype when it happens, maybe later this summer. And until then, I'll be looking forward to the promised teaser videos that GM says are coming, they'll be revealing more then!

Keep the faith, guys! And I hope all is well with you all, until the reveal, let's keep each other informed on new developments.

Also, if you guys look closely (I flipped my laptop upside down lol), and you check out the truck, you can see the windshield is pretty upright...I see a lot of H3T influence in this thing. Also, the hood is very chiseled, and if you look at it from the side, you can juuust make out the C-pillar sails sloping into the bed. I used the picture/video from the Car and Driver article.

Huh I didn't realize that, thanks for clearing that up.

From the grainy close ups it does seem like they're sticking true to the classic Hummer styling with the upright windshield and boxy body lines. No complaints from me so far.
