This was the first delivery for Golling Buick GMC in Lake Orion and the 8th delivery in Michigan.
First Impression: I love it! There is so much that's different about this truck it's hard to describe.

Most importantly, it fits through my standard 7' garage door. Whew!
The charger is doing it's job: 17mi range per hour at 94% charge.

Options: I ordered soft tonneau, which is very nice fabric compared to other vinyl ones I've had. Light kit: Cool, but install was not easy for the techs (first one). Check out those pod lights! Very cool, but they are in your view when driving. Standard black recovery hooks and side rails. Splash guards: The standard E1 comes with smaller splash guards; these upgrades are larger and nicer so maybe they'll will keep the truck clean.

I can't wait to get familiar with this beast over the next few days.

Congrats !! Looking forward to your feedback, the good, bad and not so good. I can imagine there is a little learning curve with this baby. I am Spring 2022, #2 at my dealership. I just received my verification email today, and on the GMC website to add the accessories, it only gave certain add on's to include power tonneau, kicker rear tailgate, illumination package, and the rear tire mount package. Do you know when in the process you would order order the other accessories ? such as the tech bronze emblems, wheels and D-rings? etc.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can add whatever you want to your order when you get the "it's time to verify" email and you speak with your dealer. Look at GMC Accessories for some of the other accessories. You can order from the website if you plan to install yourself, or through your dealership. Here is the link that came with my verify email:

Winter ones were entirely through the dealer, there wasn't any accessories page to do separately.

I ended up ordering stuff during the accessories sale at the end of the year, and my dealer had those things installed already before I am picking up the vehicle.

Unfortunately, if I had known, I would have bought the accessories through the sale, but really didnt know how that would work with the install at the dealership...... GMC should offer the sale for all its new Hummer EV1 reservation holders, for our patience .... Thanks for the info!

Theoretically buying through the separate sale limits the warranty on them to 12k miles instead of the standard bumper-to-bumper warranty. But hopefully I don't have to find out.
I’m a spring 2022 and I haven’t heard anything, I check my email 20 times per day

There are some +/- which way to get accessories: GMC direct or through the vehicle order. If you order the parts direct from GMC GMC Accessories, installation is not included, they are not on the invoice (if you were to finance, etc.) and there is shorter warranty. I ordered the lighting package directly and had the dealer install for $800+ (it was a TON of work). Hindsight, I should have ordered with the vehicle and the labor and warranty would have been included.

It can be part of the order online though. It looks like for the tonneau they fixed the install cost... I only paid $95 for the install when I ordered in November.

Good Point! Yes, I heard that this install on the illumination, kicker tailgate, and hard tonneau can be challenging. I believe the factory is now doing these installs, hence the change in ordering the accessories during the verify process. Aside from the wheels, I will install the tech bronze lettering emblems, D-Rings myself.

I like your options but I would have added the Red Recovery hooks to match you C8. 🤣

Congratulations @Snogoer! What's stood out to you the most about your Hummer since you picked it up?
