Most likely a 12V issue. I don't remember if there's a way to see the 12V Voltage on the screens at all

I have not seen an EV yet with a 12V display, but my Mach E does have a display that tells me when it is charging the 12V. You can buy a volt meter that plugs into the 12V socket, some folks have done that.

Since these are AGM batteries, it is also possible that at some point, when the vehicle is parked in Flint, or upon arriving at the dealer, they hook up a standard charger and end up damaging the AGM. Look at the warnings in the manual that Nebula posted.

Ford provides a reset by pushing two buttons on the steering wheel for a few seconds. Of course their Sync system has a lot of software bugs and is common to many of their vehicles.

Trying to run updates via a cell connection would be an easy source of a parasitic drain on the 12v.

My Mach E downloaded 2 OTAs yesterday, while driving. Of course the 12v is kept charged while driving. Even without Wi-Fi, if plugged in it should maintain the 12v battery. My very first OTA was while parked at a hotel all night with no Wi-Fi connection in the car.
