I think everyone that has had a Tesla, or Teslas over the years is good at this point, done even with them now that there is decent competition out or coming out. I most certainly wouldn't get another one with their build quality and mediocre interiors at best (in the S/X etc.). The others are even more plasticy, misaligned, and unless you want it for its party fart tricks and video games that you'll rarely play, then I can't see their demand picking up again anytime soon. It'll just get much worse next year. Still good to short TSLA at this point even as it comes down where the other makers are plus a little premium for its Energy side.

The best selling point for Tesla, is the Tesla SC stations. Otherwise, they are insanely boring and generic looking like a GM volt. Ok ok, not as ugly as a Volt or MachE. i just can’t wrap my head around Tesla not creating new designs and higher-end interiors with actual cockpit displays w/HUD. Car manufacturers would be better off focusing on Hybrid tech. as Toyota CEO said he will not go full electrification as it’s not possible. Finally an auto CEO with ballz who isn’t pressured by liberal politicians trying kill ICE all together without a realistic plan.

It’s also seems silly to completely abandon ICE just as we achieve the peak efficiency with modern systems. Like quitting your job just as you master it. I know that I’ll at least have one gas vehicle for decades to come. It also makes more sense from a raw material and infrastructure perspective to let batteries systems advance a couple generations and charging stations to become more common before forcing a complete transition. For instance, there’s a 70-80mile stretch of interstate near me where there are only 2 chargers capable of “350kW” and just 2 “150kW” and they’re almost always full. If EVs exploded in my fairly rural region, it would be disaster, and likely leave a horrible taste in the mouths of adopters. Tesla opening up stations helps but it also means you lose a reason to buy a Tesla.
