Start of order process?

I got a call from my dealer at 10am today. They said that I'd get an email from GMC within the next 2 weeks and that I'll need to go in to the dealer to order the EV1 within 3 weeks of that email. I also got an email this morning from GMC confirming what the dealer said. It indicated that I'd get another email in 2 weeks and that I'd have to go to the dealer at that point to complete the "verification". Did everyone get one of these?

We (dealerships) were just notified this morning of the process. I would expect all EV1 reservation holders to be contacted by gm and the dealers in the next week or so.

It's not showing up in quick order yet. When it shows up I'll post with more info.

Nice, please post it when you get a chance...
There are more options but this probably the best thing to look at for now.

Thanks for this.

Looks like there are a few changes from the one I posted previously, specifically around the tonneau covers/off-road and spare tire packages (though it seems they need to do more clean up).

The older guide said the Hard Power Retractable Tonneau Cover was standard on the Edition 1s, but now it says the Soft Tonneau is standard. Pricing on the power tonneau dropped, though, from $2,995 to $2,300, while the Bed-Mounted Vertical Spare Tire Carrier increased from $1,695 to $1,995.

I say they still need to do some clean up since the description of the Enhanced Off-Road Package ($2,600 now, down from $2,995) on page 21 says "If you have an Edition 1 reservation, you can swap out the standard Hard Power Retractable Tonneau Cover for the Enhanced Off-Road Package."

these all seem to be LPOs so typically there isnt install charged to them but i would be cautious of the pricing on that pdf. They also sent out an accessory form we are supposed to go over that has LPO, non LPO, and attentional accessories from 3rd parties. That doc lists install times and msrp but for some of those items (probably non lpo and the 3rd party) will probably have install cost additional.
Thanks for this.

I will be disappointed if I have to pay extra for the power tonneau cover.

I would not worry too much about who gets the email first, but I am interested to hear an update from @BigJonEV , as he usually knows what is going on behind the scenes.

Just heard from my dealer that he has one demo and one sold unit coming. He asked if I had been contacted by GM to see what charging I wanted. I have not. #IWorkForGM

Yeah it's just interesting to see whether the quite expensive tonneau will be included or not. I'm kind of liking the idea of the extreme off-road package plus a slant back camper shell if someone makes one (to get the storage space plus have a spare), like the below rendering. With the rearview camera/mirror, visibility should still be acceptable.
