Hey, guys and gals of the Hummerchat Community!

Today, I've got some exciting news that I'm proud to share with you all...Hummerchat has welcomed a third member to it's forum staff! :giggle:

Please welcome and congratulate our newest Moderator, @BigJonEV!!!

BigJonEV joined the forum almost a year ago, and has been a constant contributor to the site. He's an EV owner for 5+ years, owning 3 Chevy Bolts and 1 Chevy Volt over that time span. One of the things that has made him so valuable here lies in his experience - he once worked for a Chevy dealer in the past, and now works for a Buick-GMC-Cadillac dealer, so he's seen all sides of GM EV technology over the years (and will continue to do so with Ultium products). His position also allows him to provide any insider dealer info that be can. 😉 An Edition 1 SUV reservation holder, BigJonEV has had a vested interest in not only the Hummer EV line, but this website and its growth, as many of you have seen over the many months of interacting with him. He is informative, enjoyable, and dedicated, and I look forward to his future contributions.

I also wanted to take this opportunity to say two things. Firstly, a huge THANK YOU to all of our members here, old and new...you are all so crucial to this site, and honestly, to the success of the Hummer EV line as a whole. That's a powerful reality. We have a ton of dedicated members (take a bow, there are many of you and you know who you are!), and it has been a pleasure to watch this place grow since @Administrator started the site several years ago, and especially since I joined the site staff in October 2020.

Secondly, as this site grows, we will continue to look for new moderators to keep things orderly, efficient, informative and friendly to all who share our Hummer EV passion. This is a great opportunity to turn that passion into a chance to keep the forum endorsed by the head engineer of the Hummer EV himself, Al Oppenheiser, running smoothly for years to come!

So thank you to BigJonEV for accepting this chance to help, and thank you to every member here for growing the forum and turning it into the online home for ALL things Hummer EV. Keep up the great work!

Congrats @BigJonEV! Always engaged to the relevant EV topics. No doubt Hummer Chat will continue to grow, in anticipation for the first EV1 deliveries to us reservation holders sometime in the Fall of 2022. 😂

Thank you @Tom E-Tron and @Kew~HummerEV!! I'm very excited to have accepted this position and look forward to this site growing exponentially. @StillHummer and I have been discussing really how incredible this forum already is considering it is about a vehicle that none of us have. There are always engaging posts and for the most part haven't had too many crazies on here posting nonsense to stir the pot. I look forward to all of us getting our Hummers and having meaningful conversations about them, maybe even a meetup one day.

@StillHummer I can't thank you enough for your excellent intro to the position. This is going to be a great start to growing Hummer Chat and continue to be the premier place for all info Hummer EV related. I look forward to working with you.

@BigJonEV ...what a perfect position for you...but now your time here is work :-/.

The best of Hummer Chat is on all our Horizons & once some of our Edition One's are on the street, there will be a huge demand for the future editions! I am sure you will be very good at keeping us children playing nice when the forum explodes with all the future Hummer EV owners joining us here. I hope you sell more than your fair share of them at your day job.

It works out great because I spend the most time on the forum here at work. My managers actually love that I'm involved in vehicle news and staying on top of the curve. I really found a great dealership for sure.

I'm hoping with all the EV opportunities ahead of us from GM it will really take off in our area. I plan to sell every one I can an EV here and show them the real-world difference. I am the only one here that has ever owned an EV so I have a huge advantage. Now, I am worried about keeping all of you in check as I know it can get wild in here sometimes. Hahaha.
