I just noticed something that I don't think anyone has picked up on during the Detroit Auto show or anywhere else really.

GM changed out the lower Grill of the truck. I'm really surprised I didn't see anyone mention this.

I think it was always the same truck at NAIAS? NAIAS might have been pre-production instead of prototype like they had at Chicago in Feb.
Nevermind, I see what you're saying from some videos. Press event at NAIAS had the same one they had in chicago. Guessing it's more finished or something.

Na I was at NAIAS, the Press truck and the Public day truck were different.

What day did you go? Looks like they may have actually cycled the trucks a couple times.

That's what I'm saying. Public day they have that truck and during Press day they had the Truck with the larger grill and different tires.

I guess next time I need to get out there during press day

Lets play spot the differences then.
No tie downs in the bed of the public truck.
Press truck dash is a grey with red stitching, public was a white dash.
Press truck has normal pedals. Public truck pedals are really weird.

Maybe this RST has the MAX tow package... so it requires more air?

The 20k towing package? I imagine they definitely need more cooling to pass the SAE tests at that level of weight. I sort of expected gen2 of the ultium chemistry for the extra capacity, but I suppose it's not strictly necessary.

Any Hummer owner who might feel like popping the frunk tub from their EV and taking a look at how the cooling air actually flows through their glycol and refrigerant coils could probably help resolve this question.
