Ride height sensors BACKORDERED

We were emailed last week that we can take our trucks in after July 1st to have the truck software reprogrammed and to have the new ride height sensors installed for the extract mode.

And…. There is a recall for a suspension part, which started on July 1st.

I dropped my truck off at the dealership this morning (1/2 hour drive), but they just called me and said that both parts are backordered. Why would GM tell us that we can take our trucks in if the parts aren’t yet available? Parts won’t be available for 30-60 days. It’s not surprising that many things are on backorder, but this could’ve been handled better from a customer service standpoint.
I’d recommend that anyone needing this service to call the dealership to order the parts beforehand.

Have we verified/heard that these sensor are already included on very recent deliveries that were built more recently as well? I'm hoping that future builds when FZ reopens, should have these included - you would think so to avoid so many dealership service visits.
I am waiting for the software update, but as I have complained about the Hummer infotainment, you have to drill down in the menus to see if an update is available, not something that shows on the app as it should.

If there is a Vehicle update it will notify you in the notifications bar at the top.
The app integration with the truck is awful, truck shows a notification that they are not full synced, but the app works fine, and I am not able to clear the notification in the truck, tried all 3 methods, scan the image, sign in from truck, and sign in from app, all 3 got the same error, no compatible vehicle found, but the 2022 HummerEV shows up and works on the app. GM software glitch... I suppose.

vehicle updates should also under settings>scroll down>updates
How do you clear the notification about vehicle and app sync?

when you press the bell top right what appears?
You get a profile setup notification, when you click on that you get "get started by signing into my GMC" which gives you 3 options sign in on app, sign in on vehicle, skip for now, tried signing in all 3 ways, fail fail fail "failed to find compatable vehicle, but yet the phone app shows the 2022 HummerEV in the menu, and works to operate the truck.
