Reserved the Hummer EV 3X three weeks after reservations opened in 2020, with estimated delivery date fall 2022. I've checked in with the liaison online in early 2022 and was assured my reservation was in line. Here is it early 2023 and I got my first production-related communication (e-mail) ever and it announces my delivery date of LATE 2024. A full 4 years after the reservation was made and 2 years after estimated delivery date when reserving. I've only seen two on the roads so maybe they are way behind, and that I didn't get severely passed over?

No one who reserved back in 2020 got an estimated delivery date. The dates they posted back then was when the first trucks would be built, not when everyone would get theirs. I reserved my SUT on the first night, but could not get an Edition 1 because they were sold out in 10 minutes. My build date is for Fall 23, and I am likely one of the first group of people to get a 3X SUT. That will be 3 years after my reservation, but yes it is 12 months later than they originally predicted the first 3X trucks would be built.

I reserved a little after midnight the first day and the email I got today matched the one from December, estimated: Winter 2024 (Jan-March), so no movement. I think Fall 2023 is the earliest 3X truck build estimate I’ve seen. If so, my assumption is they aren’t going to build any more trucks until late Summer (Aug/Sept) and between now and then it’s just going to be Ed1 SUVs, some Silverado WTs, and Silverado RST First Editions. If yields don’t improve, I would also entertain the possibility they just start Sierra Denali EV ED1s prior to 3X builds. At some point they have to gain traction with production or ED1s/WT of each of their EV trucks will be the only ones the road by this time next year.

I just talked to GMC's Hummer reservation line. I ordered the 3X SUT in the first 10 minutes of reservations going live. They confirmed my build date for Fall 2023.

I reserved the first night, I think in the first 15-20 minutes and have a Fall 23 build date. My reservation is 52XXXX. It is possible that those reservation numbers have some dealer code in them, so a numerical ordering may not be possible.

Yeah, my second reservation is a smaller number than my first reservation a year+ prior, doesn't appear to be any pattern to the numbers we know of.

I have 2 reservations as well and the the one I did second a few months later is a much lower number.

Reservation numbers are randomized. I suspect they also have a checksum and they can actually only take 100k of them total.

I received my letter as well. It said my Hummer EV will be ready in the Fall of 2025. I am totally depressed.
