Oh, available Summer 2023 is a push back... I got the same email, but did not read it so closely.
Likely to make more batteries available for Hummer and Lyriq.

Website still says Spring 2023.
I think GM has been taking a beating on their available dates, when they miss slightly, like LYRIQ people saying LYRIQ is late because GM said "initial availability first half 2022" but the actual first delivery was July 14th... Might as well Lower the expectation to ease the pressure.

Do you guys think the Blazer will get batteries from Lordstown, or China? With the failure of the USA battery bonus legislation, I am leaning towards China, CATL cells to keep the cost down, and free up Lordstown production for Hummers, BrightDrop, LYRIQ

@Dark-Fx

I notice the Blazer unveil is scheduled after the Home Run derby, think GM is going to advertise during the HR derby?
oooh I haven't even thought of that. That is a great possibility.

All kidding aside, it’s not Cadillac, Buick, or GMC products that change GM’s course or the US‘s EV attitude. Chevy is GM’s heart, and the US auto market’s. Chevy‘s are the every-man’s cars and trucks. Silverado, Blazer, Equinox are the make-or-break. US Chevy dealers, already primed on a decade of selling/servicing Volts and Bolts, don’t require the coddling GMC and Cadi dealers needed to convert service or sales to EV. The just need compelling EV product, at a knockout competitive price. Come on, GM, we old Chevy men are rooting for you. Knock it out of the park!
