Out of Spec Reviews 70mph test on this same truck was 1.5 mile/kwh (318 miles) in warmer weather, he did not have the tonneau cover, but the Inside EVs test did have it. Also the GM efficiency rating on the display is truncated, so the number Kyle got is not truly accurate. For example, on his original test of 318 miles, it indicated 1.4 mile/kwh on the display, but in fact the real number was 318miles/213kwh, which is 1.49mile/kwh. The test he did in the cold are only running a short distance and using the efficiency indicator in the truck, not real battery usage. Accuracy can be off by 0.1 mile/kwh.
Using the efficiency indicator, the loss is only .2 mile/kwh, but possibly less than that.
