The rendering looks very nice. It has the flying buttress backend similar to the Hummer (and looks like the same for the Silverado EV). It looks a little too low slung to be practical, so we will see how it looks in reality. The specs look good, but the timing doesn’t too competitive.

The Jeep side does have some good looking stuff coming as well from the sketches shown. There is one new vehicle that looks like a bigger Wrangler/Wagoneer combination. This would probably complete with the Hummer SUV. Let’s hope GM can help push up the timeline of the SUV.

My first impression is this is all "vaporware" and they are way, way behind in the EV race. I wonder what woke them up? Their investors?
Stellantis has to wake up sooner or later, at some point you run out of people satisfied with just throwing a hellcat engine into every vehicle, and still being slower than an EV. When it comes to performance cars or trucks ICE's days are numbered, BEV's already beat them in most metrics, soon it will be every metric. I also think the number of people who want the sound and exhaust while losing the race is dwindling every day. Some of my friends who were staunchly anti EV., have even been asking questions and exploring recently. A while back I was at work and an older neighbor couple came over to ask me about my Tesla Model Y, I let them drive it around the block, and that night I got my first referral. The wife came back a little pale faced, and the husband just smiling...

I agree. The only things BEVs are worse at will be overcome in the next few years, and then there will be nothing an ICE vehicle does better. Certainly there will still be engine people, and I can see myself buying a Red Barchetta (reference to one of my favorite Rush tracks, which is really appropriate considering) because of the sound and just coolness of having a engine. Maybe. But there will be a market, sort of like there is a market for vinyl records, unless the government makes a "motor law" and outlaws them. Imagine that. Anyway, my son has purchased new vinyl records because, well, just because. He doesn't even have a turntable...

Exactly right, it takes all kinds to make a world, there will always be ICE fans, although fewer every year, and usually a few drives in an EV is all it takes and people are convinced.
