I think the SUV will have upgrades and reach the 300 mile range, maybe a bit over, but Rivian with their large pack is at 316, with 3 row seating, and if we learned anything from R1T, Rivian delivers their numbers, R1T with all terrain tires went 290 miles at 70 mph. With the highway tires the Rivian R1T might beat its EPA range at 70 mph(314). R1S is shorter, likely and might be a bit more aerodynamic, rear closure tends to be better on SUV compared to pickup designs.

Next year Rivian will offer 400 mile range on all models, at about the same price as the Hummer.

You can configure the R1S with the Standard pack (projected 260+ mile) or Large pack (EPA estimated 316 mile).

The R1T can be configured with the Standard pack (projected 260+ mile), Large pack (EPA estimated 314 mile) or Max pack (projected 400+ mile).

It was previously in the configurator and they took it out previously/changed all five-seater orders to seven-seaters...just a question of for how long.

Hard to say, Rivian is learning production is hard... and looking at the video from Sandy Munro this morning on their suspension, I can see their subframes are all welded extrusions, rather then more simple die cast units like the Hummer has, Rivian is doing some things the hard way.

Looks like it was just built in Factory Zero.

Cant wait to start seeing some more SUV shots and hopefully some videos. I like how the truck looks with the bigger 22" rims on it too. Also interested like the rest of you to find out the actual range of the SUV, hopefully E Tron is right and they figure out how to get it above the 300 mark even though the truck slightly missed the mark.

From just looking at the photos I feel like the SUV looks so much smaller, but I guess in some photos the truck doesnt look at big as it looks in person either. Some of the guys that got to go to the preview in Dallas last year also said the SUV was large and imposing, so I hope there is somewhere around Detroit that they put it on display again sometime this year so I can go check it out.

Makes sense, paint shop is only doing white right now, but I imagine the matte green will be showing up soon, matte paint takes some practice in the factory, because there is no correction after painted. If they buff it like they do flaws in shiny paint it ruins it. GM is courageous to do matte paints, talking to the industry folks I know its a PITA all around.

The matte paint is the only thing I am not a huge fan of in the SUV. I guess if the paint gets messed up at some point I could always wrap it, but I do like the look of the white on the SUV

One other thing to note - the tires on the 22s are much less aggressive/off road-worthy than on the 18s. 18s or 20s with low rolling resistance tires on the truck may very well get you the 350 they were shooting for, but the Edition 1s are all dragged down by the heavier, more aggressive tires.
