You really think they will remove any modules - I don't. They are still saying its rated for 300+ miles. With the Edition 1 now rated at 329, what would be the point in removing like 1-2 modules? It all seems out of date now as it still says an option is 3 motors and 350+ range, which they shouldn't be saying now. Will they remove some modules for all the lower trims and make them more like 250 range? Probably not I'd say.

We'll see how they have to adjust all their marketing/options here in months ahead I'd suppose.

pay attention to the amount of HP the base 3X is putting out. That's in relation to the amount of power the battery can provide, it's smaller.

The reservation page makes it sound like it does. It states 1000hp and 0-60 in 3 seconds with the option added to the 3X

Notice the range increases if you do that. You got the larger battery pack.
