Well guys, and gals, we have the finish line in sight now, HummerEV media drives are ongoing, and next week we will get the motherload of reviews to wade through. What do we do between now and then? I mean GM seems to have shut down all outlets of gossip, and I do not even think there has been a HummerEV sighting in the wild for a while? I for one am hoping @Aloppen gets his corporate muzzle taken off next week so he can come back to talk to us about his Supertruck.

Soooo many questions . Do we expect almost full disclosure or just some official specs and some reviews ? A more accurate date on first deliveries? How many edition ones will be made? Will we get an idea of where we are on line? How does the reservation system work for those canceling their reservations and how is the next person determined?...

Well, Full disclosure is too much to ask for a company like GM that still does public relations like they did in the previous century, but I do think they will be sharing a lot, and will be delivering the first trucks right around the corner.

These first wave of reviews will be press drive events, so not the sales and marketing side of GM. I have no idea what GM's go to market plan is at this point, I focus more on the technical side, the engineering, supply, factories, and that kind of stuff. I will assume the first orders will be placed next week and deliveries start in October which was my expectation all along. I do know the factory is building trucks now, but thats all I know.

Yes @INgolfer , I am the same way, and my wife says that I am obsessed.... Especially when I am at least a year away, but I want to see what the media says and what new bits of information get released...

I wonder @Tom E-Tron if the media will be able to compare and contrast with the Rivian... Or will the 1st videos that drop be solely about the Hummer. It seems that the Rivian was very well received, and I like it, but I like the bigger size of the Hummer better. Who knows, I may like the Silverado EV best of all... But I do like the size and stance of the Hummer, and I am sure that we aren't going to get a Trail Boss or AT version of the Silverado right out of the gate... Surely they are going to concentrate more on aerodynamics and range..

I hope the reviewers make comparisons. I have not been able to get more than a peep out of drivers that have driven it yet, GM has this cranked down tight as can be. The Rivian and Lucid events were very leaky by comparison.
