Another big question has been when will Rivian sales begin in other parts of the world?


Back in November of 2019 Rivian confirmed it was planning to sell smaller EV SUVs in markets like Europe and China.

In September of 2021 news came out that Rivian was looking to actually manufacture vehicles in Europe. They even looked at buying an old Nissan plant in Spain.

More recently the brand made it clear that online ordering would open for European customers starting in early 2022.early 2022
They have re-confirmed this news several times.

Based on some job postings it looks like the expansion will eventually include the middle east and Africa too.

Rivian has also confirmed it will sell the R1T and R1S in Australia and New Zealand.
The delivery vans have been spotted there for testing.
The R1T was also caught at an airport in New Zealand.

A lot of Rivian owners (future owners) are also Rivian shareholders.

People have been asking how to buy Rivian stock as early as October of 2019. And there was a lot of discussion about the stock price prediction.

There's an entire discussion are for it here.

One of the big reasons is the Directed Share Program that let pre-order holders in the US buy up to 175 shares each, at the IPO price.

The IPO price was $78 per share which jumped immediately to almost double that. Lucky folks!

And interest was high from pre-order holders, with a survey showing roughly 86% of reservation holders decided to participate in the DSP.

Since then it's been on a steady decline.

You can keep tabs on it youself by following the RIVN ticker symbol. And join the debate on when it's a good buy here. And do it easily with some handy apps.

Those who are thinking long term, might be more interested in the 2025 stock price.

As a truck, tires are a BIG part of making this thing both civilized and capable

While the truck will come with several different types of tires, Michelin isn't one of them. However, Michelin did just come out with a new EV-specific tire.

As for spare tires, look at this.

Surprisingly, the Rivian trucks do not come with tire pressure sensors.
