Hey everyone, excited to join the community! I was lucky enough to get one of the Edition 1 reservations, can't wait to get it!

I've never owned an EV before (or a truck) but the Hummer EV caught my eye with its specs, cool interior, and removable roof. Likely will hold on to my reservation, but I'll consider the Model X and e Tron as well.

Thanks guys! Yes they definitely went fast. I was dealing with the site issues but I just kept refreshing on my phone until it started working. I guess my patience paid off.

Because I didn't want to wait until 2022 and I was comfortable with the Edition 1 price, it was the only trim I was considering. I want to get to an EV ASAP, so if I had to wait until 2022 I probably would have gone with a Tesla or the e tron instead. I also tend to tick most option boxes when getting a car, so even with a lesser model I probably would have tried to get all the options already on the Edition 1.

I have started looking into charging options. The one wrinkle is that I might be moving soon, so I'm waiting to see how that goes. But it'll be in another house, so it's just a matter of whether I set up a level 2 charger inside my garage or outside of it. Would love to charge faster than that but I don't think that's an option?

Yes, DC fast charging (Level 3) is currently only available at private businesses and public areas. The best you can get at home is the Level 2 Charger, which will still get you about 18 miles of range per hour, or 216 miles per 12 hour overnight charge. That should be more than most people will ever need...hope you can get the moving sorted out soon, so you can install yours! That Edition One is going to look great in your driveway...
