I thought this was interesting, sounds like the Rivian is a serious player with a great Rivian proprietary suspension.

Yes, sounds like a great vehicle. Am a little disappointed though as the latest video just seems like a sponsored commercial for Rivian. Don’t mind Rivian helping them out a bit, but it appears that they are following Motor Trend around a little too much! Maybe that’s just me though!

This is unbelievable that Rivain let a publication use a still in development vehicle for a month of off roading. Rivian clearly has confidence in their vehicle, and it sounds like technically they are way ahead of the HummerEV in suspension and body control. You see the Hummer rock back and forth on power and brake applications , like a hobby horse, the Rivian controls the body much better with a higher tech suspension, not supplier catalog parts like GM threw on the HummerEV. Rivian is $40K cheaper then a Hummer Ev, has similar range, similar acceleration, more efficiency, should have better off road and on road driving manners in most circumstances. I think Rivian has a winner here. In the R1S class where Rivian has no competition, they are really going to win. I ordered an R1S to replace our E-Tron, like the E-Tron, don't want any LG pouch cells in the garage while my family sleeps until they have proven to have their issues resolved.
