One of the engineers for the OEM that designed the cover is on the forum. I don't want to out that person since they reached out to me directly. I'd be willing to relay any information to/from them if they requested that.

Yes... Good news for me is that I am in SC and we really do not have much freezing weather, but we do go to my in-laws in the NC mountains and they do have some colder temps

I was able to keep recalibrating mine to get it to open and close. Weather changes made it seem like it was forgetting the calibration, but based on the "ECU" update above, it probably was because of that.

Btw, for anyone where the reset (pushing both buttons doesn’t work), once you get the tonneau all the way open, on the driver’s side up against the bulk head is a little rubber connector. Pinch and pull to unplug the unit. Wait a second or two, and plug it back in. Then do the double button cycle. That’s the only way I can get mine to work. It wakes it back up.

This sounds more like a firmware crash to me.
