Nice... I live in Lexington SC, and I have my reservation with Jim Hudson. So far they are saying the right things, but I still have some time. I may swap to McElveen if I get even a hint that they are going to try something shady. Summerville if a very short trip, just over an hour or so for me (and I drive a lot for work).

McElveen GMC doing the extra's for their customers, giving assurance and great customer service. Thats why they have been in business for 40 years. Love to see dealers who really care to do the little extras for their customers, it is the basic little things that people remember most.

@TyWhiteEV have you delivered any Hummers yet?
No they haven’t had any

Ironically, none! Every Edition 1 transfer we tried to get was too far along in the process to be flipped but rest assured that we are extremely prepared for the future! It will be here faster than we think, and we look forward to helping you with your purchase and seeing you ride off in your new vehicle!

I still have not seen one in person... I have seen 3 or 4 Rivians, but only 1 in SC... I would really like to see one in person to get a real world aspect of the size... But my current vehicle is an 05 Silverado 2500 crew cab (Duramax) so I am used to a Big truck, and really looking forward to the 4 wheel steering and how nimble it will feel compared to my current truck (which is the opposite, it takes about a 40 acre field to turn it around) 😁

I haven’t seen one in Northwest Florida as of yet. I agree with you on the real world aspect.
I have a Hummer SUV 3X reservation with this dealership. If they only produce 1200 of the Edition 1 Trucks there’s no wonder we haven’t seen one.

It is very close in size to the Ford Raptor. I have yet to see a Rivian, but have seen 18 Hummers. Here is one next to my Mach E to give that size perspective.

The Hummer proportions take some getting used to in person, it's much smaller then a typical HD pickup, much smaller. Lower, and shorter in length, but man is its wide. Sitting inside is also strange, the roof is low, windshield like a gun slot in a fort. Windshield is much shorter feeling when sitting inside then it looks in pictures of video.

Saw one for the first time in Naples, FL this week. It drove by while we ate dinner outside and I was wowed but the size. My 2 year old declared that it was a monster truck.

It may look huge but drives like a small sports car, the turning radius has to be experienced to understand. I was parked with two empty spots next to me so I backed up 5 feet then put it in drive and turned all the way to the left and it made the turn.
H3 has a tight turning radius. Great for towing.

I drove one around the dealer lot a few months back. The turning radius is insane. The dealer kept having me do U-turns where it didn’t look like there was room, with new vehicles all around. I was nervous the first time because it looked pretty close, but got the hang of it quickly.
