The Lordstown Endurance has apparently reached over 100,000 pre-orders according to its CEO Steve Burns. A good chunk of these appear to be fleet orders.

Steve Burns, CEO of Lordstown Motors said:

“Receiving 100,000 pre-orders from commercial fleets for a truck like the Endurance is unprecedented in automotive history. Adding in the interest we have from federal, state, municipal and military fleets on top of that, I think you can see why we feel that we are about to revolutionize the pickup truck industry.”

Good News for EV pickups, but I am still 50/50 on whether this company can bring the truck to production. bringing a design up to production standard is very hard and listing to these guys speak, I have never been too impressed.

I agree these guys have a long way to go to still get the Endurance ready for customers. I think they have a solid chance of getting it done but if they don't get it done I won't be surprised either.

The one thing they having going for them is focusing on commercial clients which is unique for EV trucks.
