A Lordstown Endurance prototype caught fire in Farmington Hills, Michigan and the result is not pretty.

I was really sad to hear about this a couple weeks ago, I want Lordstown Motors to be successful, but this is not a step in the right direction.
Glad no one was hurt. Hopefully it wasn't the battery that started it and had something to do with the connections or something else that could be related to it being a prototype/mule. Unfortunately these things happen and it will probably set them back some.

Woah! I hope this doesn't give them bad PR, but I admit EV fires have always concerned me.

Statistically, EV catch fire far less often than ICE vehicles. That being said, battery fires are hard to extinguish.
