This is something I was expecting, and looks like Tesla's massive lobby failed to convince regulators to go with a different standard. Basically if a company wants to have part of the government subsidies for charging infrastructure, they will be CCS, and no bias in access or operations (including fees). I think this is another of the reasons Elon Musk has been so cold towards the Biden administration. Well, this and the taxing the billionaires policy, and not constantly edifying Elon, which his fragile little ego needs.

This policy is great for EV owners of most brands other then Tesla. Sorry for Chademo users, thats standard is now officially obsolete, and going to need adapters. I wonder how long it will be before Tesla converts their cars to CCS standard like they did in Europe?
