Based on the 50% SoC point he will come in at 310 miles, less than Tom (343 miles). But he has the open bed with the spare tire, no bed cover.

The tire is close to the roof, so it does not add much drag, it is the tailgate that can add the drag as the airflow from the roof drops.

He got 318 Miles on the 70 MPH Test.

It appears the mile/kwh display in the truck truncates to the lower value. 318miles/213/kwh = 1.49mile/kwh, but the truck displayed 1.4. My Bolt and Mach E also do this, but the Mach E seems to increment in 0.2 for some values, so it can be even further off.
