I’m in a similar situation. Truck came in two weeks ago. Gm reps had to come and swap out an AC module. Apparently was leaking. Pushed back my pick up date by two weeks. Dealer has been a sweetheart. Let me take pics with the family and car etc. GM is managing the final delivery to owners process like a hawk. Conference calls, etc. the car will have about 200 miles on it when delivered to make sure the issues have been worked out. Apparently I am number 66. So yes, you can get the number if you ask.
Good morning Dose,

My Edition One arrived two weeks ago today in the PNW. After a week at the dealer & 32 miles of PDI (15 miles to a detail shop to fix a scratch), I picked it up last Friday. It was a good day!!

By Tuesday, I had a CEL after 400 miles of pure joy driving my Hummer EV. After getting the codes from OnStar, my Edition One went back the dealer for a fault in the battery heating/cooling system. GM had a tech look at it & now we are waiting for a part that should be here by the end of the week. Wish me luck that it is what is needed.

Oh...my Edition One is VIN 00066...maybe we are sharing it?? Hope you get your's & I get mine back soon :).

The difficult part of this rollout is the thin line GM is walking with everyone excited & wanting to take delivery with the short development cycle for an entirely new platform as @Tom E-Tron has pointed out many times here.

The dealer network is not very agile when it comes to the new complexites of this platform & are relying on GM to provide the Technical Support for these issues. For my issue with the heating/cooling unit for the battery sub-system, a Hummer EV Field Specialist was brought to the dealer for the repairs, plus the need for replacement parts for this post delivery issues. I at least can accept why, A) GM delivered out of order to Michigan first (to use the factory personel to support the first deliveries, B) sending deliveries to areas where there are multiple reservations to group the availability to Field Specialist to recify these early adopter (bleeding edge) issues.

The only beef I would have had with GM's logic on Delivery is if my sole purpose was to sell my Edition One, but that has never been an option for me. I am not in the Automotive Resale business, I buy my cars to enjoy them. I have a business that generates the revenue to allow me to enjoy my cars. Not that there is anything wrong with anyone selling their's, money matters are always personal, not up for the others to judge.

I was disappointed when my Edition One had to go back to the shop after 4 days, but the ability for my Dealer & GM to provide the parts & Specialist to get it back to me as quickly as they did makes me appreciate their efforts on my behalf. I hope my next visit to my dealer is for my free oil change🤣.
