Would you be able to leave a link to where you got that number, @GINZTOY? I'm not saying I don't believe you lol, because I do, but I kept hearing GMC wouldn't confirm the height. Either way, I'll do some searching to see if I can confirm that height for you!Hi all, I just signed up with this forum after reading all the great information. I currently own an escalade ext, which I love, and thought it was high! I reserved an x2 and when reading some of the specs I saw that it is 81.1 inches high and it won't fit in my garage. Where is everyone planning to park their Hummer ev?
I just googled "height of hummer ev" and that is what I found. I would love it if you could prove me wrong!Would you be able to leave a link to where you got that number, @GINZTOY? Okay, so I have good news and bad news, @GINZTOY. Bad news is, you're right, when you google the Hummer EV's height, it comes in at 81.1 inches via a CNET story. They're the only source I can find that gives any height numbers, but my guess is they didn't pull that number out of nowhere...I just googled "height of hummer ev" and that is what I found. The GOOD news is that GMC still hasn't officially given a height number yet, confirmed via Car and Driver and Fox News articles on the Hummer. So we still technically don't know the height yet, but depending on how the heck CNET got that 81.1 inch number, it could be accurate. But we just don't know for sure yet.
2011. I was so bummed that they were going to discontinue it!Welcome to the forum @GINZTOY! My garage is full of so much stuff that the Hummer would be parked in my driveway. What year is your Escalade?
Great year for the Escalade. I always preferred the exterior of the second gen Escalade compared to the current one.2011. I was so bummed that they were going to discontinue it!
Me too. Ext is great because it offers me what I need in a truck. Great for travel as well as horsey stuff. lolGreat year for the Escalade. I always preferred the exterior of the second gen Escalade compared to the current one.
Not an option for me. LOLIf it doesn't fit in my garage I will build an extended carport on the side of my garage so the truck is still covered.
Yeah, I'm fortunate that a carport would work for me but I realize that won't work for a lot of people. Not an option for me. LOL
Great idea! Good LuckYeah, I'm fortunate that a carport would work for me but I realize that won't work for a lot of people.
Whenever GM has a demo in my area, I'm going to ask them if I can test fit it at my garage lol
