It felt like the DNC convention, I had to turn it off. All the politicians were patting themselves on the back, as if GM started this yesterday with the signing of the infrastructure bill, and suddenly today it was miraculously finished!
Did you expect a sitting president to show up and talk mostly about the plant and the truck? That would be product endorsement and presidents aren’t supposed to do that, unless it’s beans or pillows apparently.
