My guess is that the Edition One SUV is going be a bit less than the pickup. If the truck went for $112,595 I'd say around $108-110k for the SUV.This is exiting news, let the speculating begin... Edition one SUV available Summer 2022, priced $117K ???
Typically SUV always more expensive than pickup, because there is more cost for the 3 row interior. Sounds like we will not have to wait long to find out. I wonder if the SUV will have the removable roof panels? My guess is that the Edition One SUV is going be a bit less than the pickup. Me neither! I love the truck, but THIS one is the heritage model, the classic Hummer body style. Can't wait 😆They definitely know who they want to target with these ads haha. I can't wait for this!
I'm guessing that the SUV will have the removable panels too. It would be odd if the pickup was only capable of having it.I am torn deciding between the truck and SUV. If the latter will have removable roof panels and is available some time in 2022, I would lean toward the SUV for extra seating. If there are no removable roof panels, I plan on moving forward with the Edition 1 truck.
Which do you guys think will be the volume leader? SUV or SUT? I think the SUT will sell more initially (earlier availability), but the SUV will eventually be the higher volume play for Hummer. Between them I think 50K+ units a year is very possible when the price gets down to $100KI'm guessing that the SUV will have the removable panels too. I think that's how it'll go as well because of how hot the pickup market is right now.Which do you guys think will be the volume leader? SUV or SUT? I would buy the SUV if I did not need a pickup truck for work.
Pickup trucks (especially GM) are crazy right now, dealers have almost no inventory on the ground. GM really needs to get that Oshawa plant up to speed ASAP, and with their new interior and Supercruise coming to the pickups over the summer I see a refresh super cycle in 2022. Nice problem to have.I think that's how it'll go as well because of how hot the pickup market is right now.
Wow I knew it the market was nuts but I didn't expect it would get to the point where there's lotteries for test drives.Pickup trucks (especially GM) are crazy right now, dealers have almost no inventory on the ground. Large SUV's are booming too, my local dealers are starving for Tahoe, and Yukon's, and the Cadillac dealer has a lottery just to test drive an Escalade (they have 1).
