First off, welcome to Hummer EV forums,
@HumHumHummer! You got on at the perfect time, everything is starting to unfold!
As far as pricing, there's a couple noteworthy things. First, and this is nothing more than rumors, but I've heard that pricing will be "C8 Corvette pricing-like in shock value," and have even heard to expect pricing to start at a hair under $50k. Pricing with the highest trim levels and the most options will supposedly hit six figures. GM is trying to offer their first Ultium EVs at lower costs than you would expect, hoping that this will help them gain huge swaths of EV market share early on while the segment is young. Look at the starting price of the Lyriq, and how surprising that was. Swapping short term profits loss for long term growth seems to be the strategy.
Also, the Lucid Air (which is incredible, btw) is being billed as a true luxury flagship sedan, think BMW 7 Series and Mercedes S-Class. So they're going to price it very high to match that image. Conversely, the Hummer EV twins are being billed more as utilitarian lifestyle vehicles as opposed to luxury trucks, so I don't think they'll be priced as high as Lucid offerings.
