Hi all, new member here hoping to gain insight over the next year. I was lucky enough to get a confirmation number and reservation on Tuesday night. My reservation went through a few minutes before 9pm eastern time after fighting the system for an hour straight. I also verified a $100 charge from the dealer of my choice as my reservation was confirmed. I however have not received the confirmation email the site claimed we would see in up to 48 hours. Any reason to worry? I reserved the edition one.

I obtained a reservation confirmation but no confirmation number on opening night. I did receive an email 24 hours later with confirmation number and reservation.
Since you already have a confirmation number, you should be able to call the dealership or corporate to verify your reservation. Also, check your spam folder in case the email went there.

My edition 1 reservation went through at 855 pm eastern Tuesday night. Unfortunately, I didn’t think to save whatever reservation number that showed up on my screen, but I saved the pdf doc which doesn’t show a number or time. I received an email from gm with a six number reservation ID late Wednesday afternoon and a follow up from my chosen dealer a few hours later. Definitely curious as to where I’ll end up in line.

Similar experience as @Macadoo for me. Got my reservation finally in at about 8:45pm, a confirmation email from GMC the next day at about 7:50pm, and an email from the dealership on Thursday.
Can anyone provide clarity on the expected delivery dates? I’m assuming production starts in late 2021 and you don’t actually get the vehicle until sometime in 2022?

thank you for the comments, what did the follow up from the dealership entail? I received neither an email or a contact from the dealership. I reached out to the salemens at the dealer I typically use and he looked into it. Said the sales manager could see my reservation and I’m good to go for now. So I believe that is enough for me to believe the reservation went through.
Your reservation went through @jordan572, not to worry. The confirmation system has been working on an iffy basis at best, but if your charge went through and this was also confirmed by your dealer, you can rest easy. Report back when you get the email!
So from what some of us have been able to understand, since you said you got the Edition One in another thread, we'd guess that you'll probably get delivery of your Hummer EV sometime between December 2021 and Spring 2022. Seeing that the Hummer project has been given only 30 months to complete start to finish (and they're already going at a break-neck pace as it is), I'd expect you to get it sometime early 2022.
Production will officially begin likely in late Fall 2021, but seeing that this is a brand-new vehicle riding on a brand-new electric platform, I expect a couple production delays.

You will get a confirmation email with reservation number from GMC. My dealer immediately reached out via email, then about 3 days later I did get a confirmation email directly from GMC with a reservation number. I am sure those of you who did not get it yet, it’s on the way.
