My VIN shows the recall on NHTSA's website. Calling the Hummer concierge will not get you any new information. They told me they would update me weekly - they have not. I signed all the paperwork, paid for my Hummer, and arranged to pick it up the following Friday - the same day the stop sale order came out. I could not take it. I now own a vehicle title and am the legal owner but I guess that doesn't matter to them. 🤷‍♀️ Pretty easy to keep it out of rain/water where I live.

I did request a loaner vehicle this week. At first my dealership said no. As I was plotting my next step, they called back and said they would make it happen. I definitely prefer my Hummer though lol. I really wish I picked it up the day before.
I did not know that you had paid for the Hummer. Somehow I did not pay yet. Maybe they should just get Flex Tape and end this wait. :)

I am in a somewhat similar situation, and felt like I was the only one. I also paid for the truck in full in advance but haven't been able to take delivery.

Does anyone know if the dealers get paid back from GM during a stop sale? I was under the impression that dealers get paid 1% of the invoice prorated on a monthly basis, but I don't know if that is for new or used or both. My dealers claims that they don't know about it but if they get anything back it wouldn't be until after 120 days.

Wow in your situation I'd be pushing to take it home. You own it, not the dealer so it was sold before the stop sale you could say. Especially with their note to OWNERS just advising not to go in 2 feet or more of water mainly. Seems like a legal issue for dealer to keep your property without y o ur permission.

I guess I feel a tiny bit better than it's not just me lol. I feel like they need to fix ours first and asap. My warranty, etc started the day I signed the paperwork but I have no truck. Are they going to extend our warranty?

Are there any GM reps monitoring this forum?

Heh, just hold back one part until Jan 1st and "voila" a 2023 produced vehicle. Like I said in another thread, they're always going to prioritize the Ed1s because it's becoming apparent that it's a beta/test program. Not necessarily intentional, they just have the benefit of hindsight and the ability to modify production schedules to minimize issues based on reports and usage from the small pool of delivered trucks in customer hands. Production of the truck was supposed to speed up aggressively the second half of 2022...but it never happened and instead they ended up pumping the brakes. I want to assume they ACTUALLY meant to be making closer to 1000+/month at the end of the year but slowed it down until the kinks got worked out. It's safe to assume that at least the Launch editions of each model will hit when they say, but anything after those first editions is a big shrug as to when they're coming. We're two weeks from the end of their "Fall '22" and as far as any of us know, they haven't even finalized the build guide for customers or begun to take their orders. One dealer will probably get what's technically a 3X to fulfill their obligation to that original date just like they built a handful of Ed1s last year. They could clear up A LOT of things, give reservation holders an update on windows production, the stop-sale, etc. with a couple paragraphs in a press release...but silence is apparently their choice of response to everything happening.

Looks like we finally have our (initial) timeframe for resolution. Concierge said these would still be 2022 MY (so none of the new features going in the newer truck).

I just received the same punt to Spring ‘23. Hopefully this means they have a plan, but I’m not holding my breathe. Repairing ~850 vehicles across the country is a logistical challenge I would imagine. I’ve heard first hand that many dealers are not well equipped to work on these yet. That will likely change over time, but it’s early days.
Good luck to all of you that already took delivery, hope the battery fix goes smooth.

Hmmm they should just offer a lot of Ed1 customers a nww similar spec 3X 2023 and let dealers take the ones in need of battery repairs or similar plan of its so hard to fix this battery recall. I'd bite to start over fresh in a trade, in a good color hehe.
