Recall showing for me now. Details:
View attachment 3503
Timing is everything. I am trying to decide if you or I are luckier. My truck shipped on 10/13 in the afternoon and arrived at my dealer on 10/14 on stop sale which was issued in the evening of 10/13. I am assuming that you are not testing the 32" of water driving. :)

PCMag seems to have the best article: GMC to Recall Hummer EVs After Reports of Water Leaking Into Battery Pack

Be sure to look at the PDFs in the timeline of the article. This is from one of the imbedded NHSTA documents:

Description of Remedy : Description of Remedy Program :GM is working to develop a remedy for this condition. Pursuant to 49 C.F.R. § 573.13(d)(1), all covered vehicles are under warranty, so reimbursement is not offered.

How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component : NR

Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : Containment efforts to address undercured electrocoating were initiated at GM’s assembly plant and GM’s supplier on July 21, 2022.

Corrections to the urethane seal repair procedure were implemented at GM’s supplier on August 10, 2022.

I know that my vehicle was produced after August 10th. Hoping for more progress.

Interesting. A lot still to play out on this it seems. Hence I guess the delay in the letters until Nov 28. They may need to sort who got what and when.

It's becoming clearer to me that the stop sale is unlikely to be lifted before Nov 28 in any event. The question is will I even get to take delivery of a 2022 in 2022.
I am hoping for more progress on the stop sale vehicles. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Just heard from my dealer that when the stop sale is lifted, the order for repairs will be as follows. Delivered units will get fixed first, followed by dealer units and finally the remaining ED1 reservation units. This is particularly frustrating for me if this is true! Why would the dealer units take priority over the ED1 reservations given most subsequent model reservations (3X / 2X) are already sold out? IMHO, dealers don't need a unit to display if they're already sold out!! My ED1 reservation was a Summer 2022 and now a Fall 2022. Take this all for what it's worth.. just words.
Any word on when the process will start?

I was looking for more details or any updates this morning and I reread the main report to NHTSA. This stands out at the beginning of the report:

Population : Number of potentially involved : 824
Estimated percentage with defect : 1 %

8.24 vehicles are defective and we are in this situation?

Looks like they are going to send out a little something for waiting. Today is 8 weeks from the start of the stop sale and all I really want is the truck. I wonder if this is about the halfway point and we still have another 8 weeks to go or could it be longer??

It seems that longer thinking will serve us. The gm-trucks article said they would send out this message 4 weeks ago so we are already 4 weeks late?
