@agirls Do you know if your LPO Dealer Installed Options have been completed? So, nothing new yet...
Timing is everything. I am trying to decide if you or I are luckier. My truck shipped on 10/13 in the afternoon and arrived at my dealer on 10/14 on stop sale which was issued in the evening of 10/13. I am assuming that you are not testing the 32" of water driving.Recall showing for me now. Details:

I am hoping for more progress on the stop sale vehicles. Let's keep our fingers crossed.Interesting. A lot still to play out on this it seems. Hence I guess the delay in the letters until Nov 28. They may need to sort who got what and when.
It's becoming clearer to me that the stop sale is unlikely to be lifted before Nov 28 in any event. The question is will I even get to take delivery of a 2022 in 2022.
We don't need a loaner. I am hoping for a literal smoke test and release of the unsold trucks.
Understand. I see a few seem to have been delivered (dropped off Autotrader) in the last few days and I was hoping that the Stop-Sale was the proving ground for the fix for owners.Late November was when GM was said to communicate the fix for owners.
The recall documentation calls out the potential for the Hummer to stop suddenly while in operation. No mention of fire.I'm confused. Should I be worried of a fire or not? Maybe I just won't drive in rain to prevent any damage from improper sealing.
Weird. I can open. Safety Recall N222380031 Improper Urethane Sealing - High Voltage Battery Pack - 2022 BrightDrop EV600 & 2022-2023 GMC Hummer EV Pickupthe link didn’t work for me…
Thank you for dropping this in here. I think their are order 12 trucks on Dealer Lots that cannot be delivered...I have one of them.An update: HUMMER EV Battery Recall Update - Delivered Vehicles Are Safe To Drive But Limited In Capability - GM-Trucks.com
More information about the recall will officially be released by GM by Friday.
Any word on when the process will start?Just heard from my dealer that when the stop sale is lifted, the order for repairs will be as follows. Delivered units will get fixed first, followed by dealer units and finally the remaining ED1 reservation units. This is particularly frustrating for me if this is true! Why would the dealer units take priority over the ED1 reservations given most subsequent model reservations (3X / 2X) are already sold out? IMHO, dealers don't need a unit to display if they're already sold out!! My ED1 reservation was a Summer 2022 and now a Fall 2022. Take this all for what it's worth.. just words.
It seems that longer thinking will serve us. The gm-trucks article said they would send out this message 4 weeks ago so we are already 4 weeks late?![]()
Looks like they are going to send out a little something for waiting. Today is 8 weeks from the start of the stop sale and all I really want is the truck. I wonder if this is about the halfway point and we still have another 8 weeks to go or could it be longer??
