Super bummer on all of this. Mine is in the recall list now. Hoping they can figure out something soon.

Late November was when GM was said to communicate the fix for owners.

Hoping that's true. I think I saw November 28th was the date they were going to notify customers that the vehicles were recalled. Probably would line up if they plan to have a fix when they send out notifications of the recall.

If you believe the people on the Bolt forums that don't know how to calculate the risk, there is no risk of the Hummer starting fire.

I'm confused. Should I be worried of a fire or not? Maybe I just won't drive in rain to prevent any damage from improper sealing.

It's going to be fine unless you want to drive through Lots of water.... even then only about 1% of the trucks are thought to be impacted.

Exactly my thoughts as well. I'm just probably going to avoid driving in rain until it's fixed. It's too fun to drive to keep it parked all the time.

Got this email yesterday from GMC. I thought the interesting part is they just say don't drive the vehicle through water over 24" deep. Makes me feel a little better about the whole situation.
