GM seems to be putting a lot of effort into the small details of this design... Going to be awesome...GM's design team shared these unique details they included in the Hummer EV's exterior lighting.
"The Hummer EV Exterior Lighting team evolved aspects of the heritage front grill and created a unique lighting signature that comes alive when you approach the vehicle. It utilizes the latest micro optic technology to encompass the lit signature, charge indicator and turn signal. The rear tail lamp inverted “H” light source is edge lit from a crystal block. ⠀

I hope that they invest the time and effort into the headlights as well... I know that the Germans Audi and Mercedes have fantastic headlights (I love the ones (upgraded not the standard ones in my wife's Mercedes GLS) and I have a friend with an Audi and his headlights adjust and level when the car starts (I think that they may turn slightly when you are turning the steering wheel...GM seems to be putting a lot of effort into the small details of this design... Same here, headlights are important. Our Audi E-Tron has amazing headlights (yes, they cycle at startup), the falloff is very noticeable in our Tesla Y, especially with my old eyes.I hope that they invest the time and effort into the headlights as well... As I am getting older as well driving at night on dark roads is more of a challenge. But in my wife's Mercedes GLS, it really makes a difference. Those headlights are like driving in the daytime and it goes to bright lights automatically and then auto dims them when meeting oncoming trafficSame here, headlights are important. It's been interesting to see how lights have become a signature piece to a car these days. Whether it's in the design or how they light up when you approach the car/start it up.Same here, headlights are important. Modern lights are awesome, light up the road amazingly well, without blinding oncoming drivers, however USA regulation is holding back technology here. In Europe they have the matrix headlights, which eliminate the old low/high beam systems, but USA regulation has to chance before we have them here. As for Signature LED lighting , its awesome inside and out. In our E-Tron the interior accent led's change color based on many things, driving mode, whether you are calling for heat or cooling on the HVAC, etc, its pretty cool...It's been interesting to see how lights have become a signature piece to a car these days. I just noticed in the accessories thread that the Hummer could have a welcome light that turns on when you approach it.Modern lights are awesome, light up the road amazingly well, without blinding oncoming drivers, however USA regulation is holding back technology here.
